Playtech Group Welcomes New Regulatory Compliance Manager

The online casino software and games developer, Playtech, has confirmed that it has hired a new Regulatory Compliance Manager. Richard Bayliss joins the FTSE-listed Playtech with a lot of experience under his belt since he served as Senior Online Manager with the UK’s highest gambling authority, the UK Gambling Commission. Bayliss was with the UKGC for over a decade.

With joining Playtech, Richard Bayless will be responsible for the group’s responsible gambling initiatives and strategy – an important component with any company hoping to operate in a regulated online gambling environment today.

The Group Head of Regulatory Affairs at Playtech, Ian Ince said that everyone at the group was delighted to welcome Bayless. He said that the new executive’s wealth of experience with the UK gambling authority, as well as his insight, will be a major bonus for Playtech as the company strives to stay at the forefront of regulatory compliance developments.

“I’m certain he will be an invaluable addition to the team,” said Ince.
