sun-international-partners-with-bede-gaming-to-re-launch-sunbet-websiteSun International recently announced that it has signed a partnership with Bede Gaming to leverage its platform for the relaunch of its Sunbet website. Sun International signed on Bede to be its exclusive software provider and the two companies have been closely collaborating for the relaunch. The Sunbet sports betting platform was first launched in 2013.

Bede Gaming is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) and is one of the top casino suppliers for the global gaming industry. The company is also an approved supplier for the Alderney Gambling Control Commission.

Leveraging Bede’s Gaming Platform

The software platform for Bede is innovative, modular and flexible making it easy for digital providers to implement and leverage the platform to their success. Sun International will use the platform to launch their Kambi sports betting platform. The launch comes at an appropriate time as the 2018 FIFA World Cup is underway in Russia and there is a huge spike in sports betting across the African continent.

In a statement, Martin Sack, Group Manager for Online Business Development, Sun International said “This partnership is exactly what we were looking for – collaborative, inspiring and solution-focused, where we work together to find the best solution for our objectives. We’re excited to be part of the Bede family and are looking forward to growing our business to its maximum potential, using the innovative technology stack that Bede provides.”

Bede Gaming’s Commercial Director Ross Haselhurst said that the company was excited to be working with Sun International and would look to support the gambling powerhouse in its quest to expand operations across South Africa and capture a bigger piece of the online gambling market in the country. Haselhurst said that the two companies had plans to work together in the long run and would look to boost Sun International’s online gaming offerings.

Sun International has a major presence in Africa as well as in Latin America, where it is the biggest gaming company, having operations in Panama, Peru and Chile.
