Tsogo Sun said that its new hotel, StayEasy, will be located in the vibrant hub of Maputo. This is the third property opened by Tsogo Sun in this African country, and its twelfth outside the South African borders.

The StayEasy Maputo property promises to be one of the stars in Tsogo Sun’s portfolio, due to its location, as well as its many features. Its fabulous location on Mozambique’s coastline cannot be beaten, while the fact that it is conveniently placed right in the capital, means that it can cater to both leisure and business travelers.

Visitors who fly into the capital’s Maputo International Airport need only to travel an easy 9 km before they reach the hotel. Once at the hotel, visitors will find it difficult to move from there. Retail therapy can be found in the Baia Shopping Mals complex which is directly adjacent to the new StayEasy Maputo. The hotel boasts plenty of features to keep visitors pampered and entertained, from a modern swimming pool to an outdoor deck, workstations and meeting rooms for multiple delegates.

All in all, there are 125 en-suite rooms that make up the new Tsogo Sun StayEasy Maputo, with all the pampering of a comfortable hotel.

Right nearby, visitors can enjoy a wellness spa, night clubs, local eateries and a fantastic casino.

The General Manager of StayEasy Maputo and Southern Sun Maputo, Bruce Chapman, welcomed South Africans and international visitors to the new property.

“We are excited to finally open the doors to Tsogo Sun’s newest property in Mozambique,” he said. “We believe in the potential for growth in Mozambique, and StayEasy Maputo will be an exciting addition to our portfolio in the country.

Tsogo Sun, South Africa’s leading hospitality, gaming and entertainment group, is listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. It offers 13 casinos and entertainment destinations across six South African provinces, as well as 100 hotels in South Africa, Africa, the Seychelles and the Middle East.
