Overview

Time Square Casino in Pretoria has officially opened at Menlyn Maine. The casino is set to be to become Gauteng’s ultimate gaming destination with over 2000 slot machines and 60 casino tables. Time Square Casino will offer guests a premium gaming experience with top casino facilities.

The casino has been designed with hi-tech finishes and the exterior blends with the surrounding area. The complex is also the home to a hotel, arena and plenty of eateries. The hotel at the casino is not yet open, but there is still accommodation in the area.

The arena will host local and international concerts, exhibitions and events. The arena will be able to seat 8500 people and is expected to be finished later this year.

The Casino

The premium gaming experience is over two magnificent floors and offers 2000 state of the art slot machines, which include cabinet and speciality games as well as 60 table games. There is even enough room at the casino to add another 1000 slots and 40 tables.

On the ground floor of the casino, you will find the slots area where there are six exciting slots, which include Crystal Dual, Bejeweled, Plants Vs Zombies, Lion’s Share and Zuma. Something’s Cooking by J’Something offers an interactive concept kitchen that combines beats and bites. Kung Fu Cowboy combines American and Asian favourites. Other places to eat and drink are Forti Grill and Bar, Etas, The Brew Monkey, The Globe Bar, Megusto Coffee, Bar Time, Tatso The Buffett, Altitude and Candylicious.

Accommodation

The hotel at the complex is not yet completed, so in the meantime, you are able to stay at hotels close to Menlyn Maine.

The hotel that is still being built is The Maslow Time Square Hotel, which will be an 18-floor business hotel. The hotel will offer 3 to 5-star accommodation with modern amenities and technology.

However, there are a few hotels in the area where you are able to stay, which include the Menlyn Boutique Hotel, the Protea Hotel Fire and Ice Pretoria Menlyn and others. So, you will have plenty to choose from when you stay in Pretoria.

Entertainment Facilities

The Sun Arena is expected to be finished later this year. The state of the art arena will be able to seat 8500 people and is a multi-purpose area. There will be four private hospitality suites, two meeting rooms and will be able to host events, exhibitions, concerts and conferences.
