Burning Sun doesn’t have a traditional scatter symbol, and it doesn’t have a traditional Free Spins feature either. What it has instead is the Hold the Jackpot bonus game where, as its name suggests, you get a chance to win one of the game’s four progressive jackpots.

To trigger the Hold the Jackpot bonus game, you need to have at least six bonus symbols of any time on the screen simultaneously. This will give you three Respins with a special set of reels filled with bonus symbols and blanks only. These bonus symbols can be of different types:

• Cash symbols will pay the prize on them at the end of the feature

• Jackpot symbols for one of the game’s three smaller progressive jackpots – Mini, Minor, and Major. Each Jackpot symbol pays out the jackpot associated with it. This means that you can win the same jackpot multiple times during a single bonus game. 
• Mystery symbols and Jackpot Mystery symbols. A Mystery symbol will transform into any other bonus or jackpot symbol. The Jackpot Mystery symbol can only transform into Collector and Jackpot symbols. 

Initially, you get three spins. Each bonus symbol that lands on the screen resets the counter to three. The bonus game continues until you run out of spins or the screen is filled with bonus symbols.

When the spins run out, it’s time for the tally. First, all the Mystery Symbols transform into bonus symbols, revealing cash, collectors, or jackpots. Next, the collectors do their thing, gathering all cash from all over the screen, followed by a random multiplier being applied to their total. Then, all the wins are counted and paid out to the player.

When the entire screen is covered with bonus symbols, you’re in for a really big win: the game’s Grand progressive jackpot.
