At one point, almost every slot machine was a fruit machine, with fun sounds (for their time) and a simple mechanic. Well, Royal Seven XXL from Gamomat looks and feels like a tribute to those times. The game will not appeal to everyone, not by far. It has the visuals and the sounds of a retro game, which nowadays is called “outdated” and “behind the times”. But it has features that make it a great choice for those looking to win big on a slot machine.

The only modern thing about the Royal Seven XXL video slot machine is its format. Instead of the classic 5×3, meaning five reels and three rows, this one has a 5×4 format. 

The game’s graphics are reminiscent of a video slot machine from the 1990s. Its sound effects are the same. Overall, it has a pretty retro look and feel.

If you choose “risk ladder”, you’ll be presented with a literal ladder with all the potential wins you can pocket. A highlight will switch between the higher and the lower amount (or zero), and your job will be to stop it at the higher amount. This can be done with fast reflexes and good timing. The game stops when you reach the top of the ladder… or zero. 

Depending on your win, the amount you can claim through the Risk ladder differs. For smaller payouts, you can grow your win to 150 coins, while for bigger wins, you can even pocket 30,000. Also, the higher your win, the higher up on the ladder you start. 

At any point in the gambling game, no matter which you choose, you can cash out half of the amount in play. 

Royal Seven XXL Mobile Option

While it does work on smartphones, Royal Seven XXL is not a mobile-friendly online casino slot. It doesnt have a mobile-optimized interface, and it’s also picky when it comes to browsers. First of all, it doesn’t “like” browsers other than Chrome and other Chromium-based web browsers.
